Easter Sunday tissue run
We were sitting in the morning church service today and I noticed that Lena was sniffling a lot. I told her that she could go out of church and get a drink and some tissues. After more than sufficient time had passed and she had not returned, I decided that I had better go check out the situation. I found her in the bathroom. She had just finished her "job" and was pulling up her underwear. She said, "Mom, I had to go potty. I just sh---ed my unders (underwear)". I thought, "What?!!" I checked it out and the "unders" looked fine. I asked her to repeat what she said and she repeated, "I just sh---ed my unders." I was now thoroughly disturbed and somewhat mystified and wondered where in the world my 3-year old had witnessed such language!! After several seconds of my mind racing, I said to her, "Did you say that you just shutted your unders?" She said,"Yes." She had just pulled up/"shutted" her unders. Phew!!!
