The first week of March, Shannon and I headed to Cape Coral, Florida (w/ no kids thanks to my parents!) for our annual family farm meeting coupled with our 10th anniversary get-a-way. (Our anniversary isn't actually until May 7.) We decided to drive this year and enjoyed a full week of sleeping in, eating out (Jason's Deli is one of our favorites) and just general low key R&R. It was WONDERFUL! Shannon's Uncle Ray and Aunt Jeanne Haerr live in Cape Coral year-round now and have graciously hosted the family farm meeting each year for many years. Although it was not as warm as some years, it still was a welcome break from a very cold and snowy winter. It was a great vacation and is always fun to reconnect with the aunts and uncles. The business meeting tends to include plenty of "monkey-business" as well and we made great memories.
