Life, etc.

Hattie w/ her 3rd place project @ the science fair

Lena swinging at the Wegman's (Her Aunt
Bethany had been pushing her.)

We emailed this pic to Shannon while he was in Dallas to let
him know that the kids missed him.

We had a busy week/weekend and I am finally catching my breath today. Shannon was in Dallas, TX for the CAFO (Christian Alliance For Orphans) Summit 5 meeting Wed.-Fri. night. Hattie had her Science Fair. We had potluck Friday night and hosted a work team from Crosspoint Community Church at the ranch on Sat. That is my sister, Jane's, church in Eureka, IL. We had a great time and got a lot done. I crashed Sat. night by 6:30! (I had gotten up before 6 that morning to run with my training group in Quincy.) When I woke up a little after 8:30, the house was dark, Shannon was asleep in his chair beside me and the kids were no where to be found. Per a message on my machine, I found out that they had gone across the yard to Grandpa and Grandma Haerr's and looked inside the window (where they were watching an Andy Griffith DVD), then knocked pitifully on it to come inside. Poor little orphans! What a good thing that Shannon had just attended that meeting! Ha!!

Love your blog! I saw some pics on Jane's facebook page of the work trip. I gotta say, the Rassi's would glady give you some free advertising here in IL if you can hook us up with some HIS shirts. :) Looking forward to seeing you in July!!!!
